Did Toth create Eclipso? How many Elipso stories did he illustrate?

Thanks!

I meant Eclipso, not Elipso.

Ah, Ellipso, Master of the Conic Section! Between his hyperbolic dialogue, his use of parabolic reflectors to blind his enemies, his secret identity as a circus ringmaster, Elipso struck fear into the hearts of analytic algebra students everywhere. Accompanied by his faithful dog Focus, he would often engage in battle with his mortal enemy, The Asymptote. I always thought Ellipso should have been featured in the Tangent Comics series a few years back, but it never happened.

Cut me some slack; I was a math major. I have to use it for something.

Bob Haney created Eclipso. The early stories were drawn by Lee Elias. Other artists were Alex Toth and Jack Sparling. This Eclipso index will tell you who drew which stories:

I miss reading about the adventures of the Asymptote. It just seems like he faded away to nothing....

I know virtually nothing about Eclipso. For some reason, I never followed his adventures back then.

So I can't tell how much of what NecImp said is actual stuff and how much is there for laughs.

I think NI means to say that Ellipso has a very similar character origin to Suicide Squid.

The characters, Ellipso, Focus, and The Asymptote and all likenesses and indicia are ©2003 by me. Any likeness to actual commercially viable characters written and drawn by talented professionals and published by companies trying to avoid going bankrupt is damned unlikely, and purely unintentional.

The author wishes to thank Mike Falcon for his poor typing.

The author cautions all readers from trying to spot specific parallels (more math!) between the above characters and all other characters in the known Universe. The author was merely attempting to use math terms in a way that perhaps 6 people would find amusing.

The author grants unlimited use to anyone foolish enough to try to build upon these characters and situations.

And his sidekick Umlaut Boy?

Man oh man, do I miss Man Eating Cow....

Was there ever an ongoing Phantom of the Oprah series? I guess not since everyone was too overly-concerned about the rumors that the Phantom was a thespian.

Why can't we all just get along?
